Student Medical Journal

Editorial Vision

The Student Medical Journal (SMJ) is an international open-access platform for students to share their original, high-quality research contributions in all disciplines of biomedical sciences. We want to offer this opportunity to talented students, fostering their growth as upcoming researchers, all the while making the process as transparent as possible.

Our target audience comprises young professionals united by their passion for biomedical research. We want to foster an inclusive and diverse community, and strive to provide a platform where students from all backgrounds can contribute to the scientific dialogue.

The democratisation of knowledge lies at the core of our mission; hence, our platform is open access, enabling the best possible exchange of knowledge.

By including students in the scientific discourse, we aim to nurture the next generation of responsible and conscientious medical professionals and scientists.
