Letter from the editors
Dear young researchers, dear peers from all faculties,
Welcome to the Student Medical Journal (SMJ), a platform dedicated to supporting and showcasing the relentless effort you all pour into your research projects, whether in the lab or behind your computer screens.
At SMJ, we believe that science is meant to be shared, not shelved. Regardless of whether your findings are modest, groundbreaking, positive, or negative, we encourage you to submit your work for others to read and learn from. Our mission is to provide everyone with the opportunity to contribute to the scientific conversation and to help cultivate a diverse and inclusive community.
If you are a student engaged in (pre-)clinical biomedical or interdisciplinary research within the biomedical field, we invite you to join us in advancing these goals. Whether your project involves innovative hospital design, cutting-edge biomedical technology, an economic analysis of healthcare systems, or any other intriguing topic that intersects with the biomedical sciences, we want to hear from you.
Share your work with us and play a part in shaping the future of science and student research.
We eagerly anticipate learning about your research and look forward to connecting with you at our upcoming projects and events!
With excitement and anticipation,
The SMJ editorial team
